This Australian opal specimen highlights the incredible history of this ancient stone's formation. I love the textured surface of this raw opal against the organic and whimsical golden squiggles. This wonderfully mountainous opal is lovingly wrapped in a 22k gold squiggle setting atop an 18k gold framework. The open back allows the specimen to be admired from all angles. Shown here on the Coral Vita Necklace and a 14k gold rope chain, each 18" in length.
